From Roots to Wings marks a long-awaited, multigenerational reunion of Women After God’s Own Heart (WAGOH) women, celebrating legacy, resilience, and the bonds formed through faith and community. Hosted by The JunneBug Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to grief support and healing for all. This Women’s Day event creates space to reconnect across generations and honor shared values and the many ways faith, resilience, and service continue to live through the women connected to this legacy.
Reserve a Sisterhood Table
Gather your circle and experience From Roots to Wings together. A reserved table for six allows you to share the day with the women who have walked beside you through life, faith, and friendship. Tables are available for $750, creating a dedicated space for connection, reflection, laughter, and joy.
Rooted in Legacy | Designed for Connection
From Roots to Wings is more than a Women’s Day event, it is an immersive, intergenerational homecoming designed to nourish the body, spirit, and community. This special day bridges generations of women, creating space for shared stories, laughter, joy, and meaningful connection.
Guests will be welcomed with a tea bar by RootedVines, featuring the custom JunneBug Tea, alongside music curated by a DJ to set the atmosphere for celebration and togetherness. Throughout the day, attendees will experience spoken word, an African dance performance, and a powerful Legacy Panel featuring women shaped by WAGOH, followed by a keynote presentation offering a heartfelt WAGOH-style experience reminiscent of the early days. A hot lunch buffet and dessert bar will be provided, creating space for fellowship, reflect, and reconnect in a way that feels familiar, joyful, and deeply meaningful.
